Chiara interned with Sally Fischer PR during the winter of 2007. Born in Italy in 1981 to an Italian father and Australian mother, she came to SFPR looking for experience. Following her time with SFPR, she went on to work in London at SONY Consumer Electronics in the marketing and communication department. Two years ago Chiara moved to Vienna with her Austrian boyfriend. After attending German classes, she began working for Mondelez International-Kraft Food as the Communication Manager for the International Ski Sponsoring Team. On the 12th of July she will be getting married to the man beside her in the picture.
Sara interned with Sally Fischer PR between June and August of 2008. Born in San Benedetto del Trono, Italy, Sara is 25 years old. After graduating with a degree in economics and a masters from SUNY, New Paltz, Sara came to SFPR. She reflects on the invaluable opportunity, saying that she learned a lot in a new setting. After returning to Italy, she obtained a job as part of the managers team of Abercrombie and Fitch. She loves her job as assistant manager at the flagship store, with responsibilities including: financial management, image management and maintenance, and attendance management. She could not be happier with her job.
Francesca interned at Sally Fischer PR during the summer of 2011. A New Jersey native, she is currently a sophomore at The Fashion Institute of Technology, working toward a degree in fashion design. She has always been passionate about apparel design and hopes to one day establish her own brand. She has worked tirelessly on her drawing and sewing skills over the years in order to someday make this dream a reality. Following her time at SFPR, she interned at Banfi Zambrelli, an Italian shoe manufacturing company in New York City. Assisting with office work and shoe designs, she continued down a path toward her ultimate goal. She currently interns at LJP International, a company that designs, develops, and produces shoes for a number of designers including Nine West Kids, Mootsies Tootsies, and Robert Graham.
Maria Elena interned at Sally Fischer PR from January to April 2009. She is now 30 years old and was born in Torino, Italy. After interning at SFPR, she worked in one of the most renowned international PR and media relations agencies in Milan, called Weber Shandwich, for four years. She is currently a PR and Media specialist at Mailander, a PR agency in Turin and has loved the path she has taken in PR following her internship experience!
Anjali interned with Sally Fischer PR between January and March of 2012 and feels fortunate to have had the opportunity that she claims was one of the most beneficial internships she has had. A New Jersey native, Anjali now lives in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Anjali studied fashion merchandising and marketing at LIM College in New York City and hopes to return LIM College for graduate school in order to study Entrepreneurial management and fashion marketing. She is passionate about fashion, her family, and experiencing life to the fullest. She reflects on her own personal mistakes, saying that she always learns from these moments and they make her a stronger person in the end. With a current job in the cosmetics and skincare division of Coty Incorporated in the Empire State Building, she is working in the global market research department and representing OPI, Sally Hansen, Lancaster, and Philosophy. She attributes her prosperity in the job market to her exposure in the industry ad past internship and job experiences. SFPR not only helped her with her writing and analytic skills, but also taught her how to visualize an idea and broadcast an idea in to a product, service, or event. She also feels that SFPR’s specialized expertise in lifestyle fields and in-depth knowledge base for the PR industry is what leads to both the agency’s success and interns’ understanding of the industry following their time with SFPR.
Sara interned with Sally Fischer PR between March and June of 2012. Born in Milan, she ultimately attended Bocconi University and received a degree in business administration and masters in marketing management. She is passionate about marketing and communications, PR and social media and loves learning and practicing foreign languages while traveling the world. After her experience at SFPR, she graduated from her masters program in December of 2012 and has been working for almost 2 years in Milan as Assistant Brand Manager of Lierac, a brand of premium cosmetic products, owned by the French “Alès Groupe”.
Melissa interned with Sally Fischer PR during the summer of 2013. A Connecticut native, Melissa recently graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences. Reflecting on the experience she had with SFPR, which she calls “amazing,” Melissa recalls how the agency helped her to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and the real world experiences of public relations and work with a variety of diverse clients. She is now in the process of looking for a full-time job in the field of PR or Marketing, hoping to be based in the New York City area.
Beatrice interned with Sally Fischer PR between January and April of 2014. Born in Italy in 1988, she has been a lifelong lover of Italian art. Growing up in an artistic household, she faced many opportunities to experiment with varying forms of self-expression and became who she is today because of that exposure. After focusing on art in high school, she decided to pursue a degree in art exhibition and events at the European Institute of Design in Milan, in june 2011. After moving to London, she obtained a masters in Performance Design and Practice at Central saint Martins school of Art and Design. Since age 19, she has worked as an assistant for set designers and TV commercial productions in Italy, proud to say she has had the chance to collaborate with Heineken Beer Company for a few projects. She also worked with FILMMASTER Events in Milan as their video specialist in the creative department. In 2014 she moved to New York where she is currently living and trying to get the most out of the city she describes as “vibrant”. Working at SFPR allowed to to experience American work event management from a logistics and PR perspective. She is currently working as a freelance for Italy in graphic design and video editing.
Emanuela interned with Sally Fischer Public Relations in July 2014. As a film journalist, Emanuela has worked since 2002 for magazines Box Office, Best Movie, Italian Cinema and since 2007 for the daily Avvenire. From 2012 to 2013 she promoted, as press office, films selected at International Festivals: “Pezzi” of Luca Ferrari (Italian Perspectives Winner for Best Documentary); “Alberi” of Michelangelo Frammartino which had its world premiere at MoMA PS1, in partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival, 2013; “Striplife,” an award-winning documentary; and 37 ° 4 S, a short film by Adriano Valerio (winner of a Special Mention at the 66th Cannes Film Festival and the David di Donatello 2014). She met Sally Fischer while working on “Alberi,” and now she is working with Sally Fischer PR for a one-month internship. As a friend told her, she doing her “Lezioni Americane: Six Memos for the Next Millennium,” according to Italo Calvino.

Stephanie interned at Sally Fischer Public Relations January-July 2014. She is a recent graduate from the Fashion Institute of Technology with a major in Advertising and Marketing with a minor in Psychology. Stephanie was born in New York and raised in Colombia, she then moved back to the U.S to finish high school and college. After plenty of experiences of interning in different places; Stephanie explains, that Sally Fischer Public Relations has made her realize that her capabilities in working in different subjects and understanding the beauty of public relations goes beyond what she imagined. She is very thankful for this experience and for all the new things she learns every day she comes into the office.
Roberta interned at Sally Fischer PR from June 2014 through August 2014. She is from Turin, Italy, where she received a masters in Multimedia and Mass Media Communication. In Italy she works in communications and PR, and she has taken a break from her job to come to NYC to improve her skills abroad. Passionate about running and fine food, she is studying to ultimately became a professional Sommelier.
Vince interned with Sally Fischer Public Relations from May 2014 through July 2014. He is an undergraduate student majoring in public relations at Boston University. He is most interested in fashion and, as he puts it, he loves the way in which the fashion industry creates living art. With an interest in languages, Vince has studied Mandarin Chinese and Italian and has a passion for learning about East Asian culture as well as his own Italian culture.
Lindsay interned with Sally Fischer Public Relations from June 2014 through August 2014. She recently graduated from Middlebury College with a degree in psychology and a minor in religious ethics. She became interested in public relations and marketing after starting a small business of her own in 2011 and has interned in both the marketing and PR fields. She is passionate about the culinary arts, running, writing, and traveling and is thrilled to be spending her summer with SFPR!
